Nearly extinct due to old world whalers using them as a food source for the long trek home, conservation groups on the islands have brought their numbers back up. Using mountain bikes to explore the islands are another fun way to experience the Galapagos. While there too many destinations to list, a mountain bike ride from Puerto Baquerizo to Puerto Chino is a great workout. Puerto Chino is a remote beach with beautfiul scenery and plenty of wildlife. Free Diving is an awesome activity that allows you to go deeper (with the help of better equipment) and to stay longer under water (a great activity to improve holding your breath in bigger surf ). We offer a quick and efective two day PADI certification training course while you are with us (equipment included). If you are a free diver already, daily dives can be organized (included on the surfing package on board one of our surfing speed boats). Some of the best surf breaks in the Galapagos are far away from towns and ports, especially in San Cristobal. The Surfari we offer will allow you to have a unique surf and adventure experience while checking the island's north coast. Our speed boat is a 38 foot walk-around with two ecological 300 HP engines and a sun deck, cover and bathroom.
